Phlebotomist – Laboratory - Full Time - Evenings

Committed to care, Phlebotomists at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team of Phlebotomists in a fast-paced hospital, outpatient laboratory and at a skilled nursing facilities drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures.

This is a full time evening shift position working Monday - Friday 3:30pm – 11:30pm plus rotating weekends and holidays (variable shifts). Location is our NYP Westchester campus in Bronxville, opposite the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria

Experience/expertise in venipuncture technique preferred.

Required Criteria

Two years prior hospital or SNF experience.

High school degree or equivalent preferred

Must be able to function well under the normal pressures of hospital laboratory work.

Strong verbal communication skills.

Basic PC and LIS proficiency
