Accounting Senior Manager - SEC Reporting

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will Co-manage the SEC reporting process for our 10-Q/10-K documents, provide analysis and interpretation of accounting/financial reports and drive SOX compliance.

As an Accounting Senior Manager you will:

SEC Reporting:

Footnote preparation and review

MD&A preparation and review

Press release and other investor relations deliverables support

Liaison with external auditors for administrative filing requirements

Peer benchmarking

Assist in the proxy reporting process

Review and/or preparation of the compensation tables

Validate and review tie-outs of the financial data in the documents

Liaison with the law team as needed

Manage the executive perquisites process

Manage the government census reporting

Manage the preparation of the financial statements and 11-K filings, as needed for the company’s benefit plans

Analysis and Interpretation – Accounting and Financial Reports:

Partner with Technical Accounting and External Auditors, as needed, on technical accounting topics

Serve as the accounting lead on technical stock-based compensation matters, including updating and understanding company stock plans

Serve as the SEC reporting lead for the cashflow review and analysis – liaison with treasury as needed on questions and support for cashflow changes, budgeting and forecasting

Internal Controls and Compliance Process support:

Partner with Internal Controls team to complete and review Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Certification and other control verification processes as they relate to SEC reporting. Review draft deficiency reports as applicable - lead and supervise implementation of remediation actions.

Support Internal/External/Tax audits by identifying the resources to support the requests and ensuring timely and accurate submission and responses.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Accounting experience; OR

Master’s degree and 4 years of Accounting experience; OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Accounting experience; OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of Accounting experience; OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Big 4 Public Accounting experience

Strong project management skills

Strong leadership skills

Experience with SAP and Workiva applications

Comprehensive accounting knowledge on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting

Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills and be able to bridge cultural differences

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work optimally with multiple functions and be able to bridge cultural differences.

Detail oriented, excellent analytical, problem solving, management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently, to multi-task, and to prioritize

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
