Our expertise in infrastructure includes aviation, highways and bridges, planning and advisory services, ports, rail and transit, tunnels, and water. Want to be part of the creation and construction of our cities? Then the infrastructure team is for you!

As a Junior Civil Designer, you will be required to provide engineering deliverables and technical support. The main duties and responsibilities as part of this position include:

Responsibilities:

Participate, contribute and execute civil scope related to earthworks, roads, buried services and storm water drainage for mining projects.

Produce detailed engineering model and drawing deliverables for civil related projects.

Communicate with external and internal stake holders to ensure quality and timely outcomes.

Perform assignments related to civils, drainage and utilities;

Assist with preparation of detailed design for civil engineering infrastructure/utilities projects;

Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications;

Coordination with other technicians in designing drainage and utilities provision for development, urban regeneration and transportation projects;

Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed.

Qualifications:

Diploma or equivalent in Civil engineering design or drafting.

Understanding of inter-discipline requirements for the tasks at hand.

3D modeling and 2D drafting experience is required, will train in 2D and 3D MicroStation.

Experience with Civil 3D, that will provide a context to InRoads training.

Understanding design concept for roads, earthworks and drainage.

Problem solving attitude.

Ability to work in a team-environment
