The Human Resources Department at Nature’s Fare Markets supports the success of the company, its staff, and customers, through the development and maintenance of strategic and value-added human resource programs, services and processes.
The Human Resources Coordinator supports all department initiatives and programs by providing administrative support, coordinating with employees and managers, and collaborating on upcoming goals. This role is based at our head office location in beautiful Vernon BC.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Supporting all the HR functions that are key to supporting our teams including but not limited to:
Recruitment:
Provide administrative support for all aspects of the recruiting process, including:
Creating job postings for open positions
Reviewing applications & conducting phone screens
Conducting reference checks
Drafting employment contracts
Training:
Provide administrative support for training programs and initiatives, including:
Maintain online seminar enrollments for vendor trainings
Send enrollment reports to managers for upcoming trainings
Upload and track training certifications
Health & Safety
Assist with maintaining WCB files and reports
Drafting monthly OH&S committee topics
Assist with advising on claim process, when necessary
HR Events
Take ownership of annual store and office team HR related events – driving development, approval, coordination and execution (including hands on event management)
Administer and coordinate execution of the employee milestone program (recognition awards, birthdays, life events)
General:
Update templates and forms
Update current policies and procedures when necessary
Update job description as needed
Upload documents to HRIS
Disburse documents for signature and track responses
Support in an administrative capacity on all HR projects
Support in with the overall coordination of HR programs and initiatives within the department
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Proven intermediate level administrative skills
Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in a related role
Strong technology skills: MS Office; Adobe; Power Point; HRIS systems
Strong analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information with accuracy and efficiency
Human Resouces education and/or experience considered a valuable asset
