Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and by 'horizontals' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.

Securities Services domain is responsible for the development of applications providing local market connectivity, settlement, fund services and securities lending for financial services clients like Asset Managers, Broker-Dealers and Global Custodians. Our current work includes new SPA web applications, DLT, real-time event processing and analytics.

Role Description:

This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of methodologies, best practice standards and quality assurance activities in programme/project and business management across the portfolio. The analyst will also focus on driving quality improvements. The analyst functionally reports to the Business Manager/Lead.

Your key responsibilities:

Work with the PMO and Business managers to develop the Project Standards guide, seeking contributions from project managers and leads to ensure that the Standards meet best practice. Support the implementation of governance standards across the portfolio.

Drive the PMO governance for Key deliverable initiative and programs in the domain.

Tracking of financials across the Tribe portfolio, ensure they are on targets and providing commentary for variances of actuals vs forecasts vs plan

Ensuring the Change the Bank (CTB) repository tool is up-to date with resourcing, expenses and other related information.

Set up calls with all project/programme managers and Tribe leads for regular status review, minute the meetings notes and agreed actions.

Working closely HR and support senior management on hiring strategy to onboard resources and track status for the Securities Services Technology domain.

Support the management and tracking of headcount for the domain including position management for internal and external staff, managing perm hiring and backfills.

Extract reporting from various tools e.g. dbClarity/dbBuyer and other governance related systems to check accuracy and completeness of programme/project-related data

Create the Purchase Requisitions to ensure we have timely Purchase Order (PO)'s available/created

Vendor management. End to end co-ordinations until PO is sent out to the vendor

Participate in the automation of PMO processes

Creating multiple reports & MIS for stakeholders/management

Managing multiple ad-hoc and short timeframe requests

Automate reports using Macros and advanced Microsoft tools

Your skills and experience:

Understanding of the Financials and the concepts of P&L and capitalization

Knowledge of project management concepts and business management as a function

Experience in resource management, hiring governance to ensure the hiring and exits are accurately reported.

Highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and advanced Excel with an ability to create formula-based Management Information.

Advance excel skills is mandatory. Hands on experience with Power Query, Power BI will be a plus

Knowledge of Tableau will be preferable– creating, managing, analysis of data

Knowledge of Clarity, JIRAs and SharePoint will be a plus

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the related role

Soft Skills:

Articulate and coherent communication, both written and oral. Fluent English (verbal and written).

Ability to prioritize, organize and get the job done. Attention to detail.

Capable of being assertive and/or diplomatic when needed.

Comfortable in communicating with senior management.

Responsive, diligent and able to analyze detailed and large data sets.

Excellent collaboration/ mediation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Commerce, business or finance degree from an accredited college or university
