GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Sr Specialist Marketing will support the sales team to develop the business with Channel partners & end-users in all industries (medical excluded) within the Indian market as well as South Asia. she/he assists the team in combination of marketing strategy development, product promotion, market analysis, and customer engagement within the industrial and life science sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. The Sr Specialist act as the Marketing partner for Marketing Manager,

a. Understand the sales team objectives: market, targets, type of industry, products to push

b. Propose sales enabler supports for the field team

c. Support both the end users & channel partners’ development

2. The Sr Specialist will execute & drive execution of the defined marketing plan to achieve in India:

a. Building brand awareness

b. Developing & adapting marketing collaterals

c. Generating leads and developing sales thanks to regional or local campaigns

3. The Sr Specialist is looking for growth opportunities and developing campaigns & tools to enable business development.

Implement, either in their entirety or discrete aspects, trade marketing collateral and communications projects to support the introduction of new programs, products or solutions.

Coordinate the campaign execution with channel partners ensuring appropriate and approved materials are delivered in a timely manner to identified channel partners

Support campaign reporting by consolidating results, metrics and budget.

Coordinate the budget tracking and administration aspects for specific trade marketing activities related such as management of material storage and distribution.

Coordinate the processing of marketing services related purchase orders, invoices and content approvals with the appropriate legal, compliance and regulatory executives.

Develop Market and product knowledge in order to support “selling value & differentiation” supporting Premium Brand position in a developing market

Ensure sales team demo-kit, training pack for the market are up to date & aligned with the sales & marketing goals.

Achieve the personal development plans set for him/her

Carry out any other special assignments under the direction of the line manager, participate in job related projects as assigned by the management.

The Sr Specialist Marketing will work closely with the sales team and to ensure that customer needs are met in a timely manner aligned with the key strategic objectives agreed within the region.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

· Engineer + MBA is preferred.

Job Experience

· Ideally 8-12 years’ experience in marketing.

· Experience within the B2B industry preferred.

· Marketing events organization and coordination

Knowledge and Skills

· Native Indian speaking and fluent English

· PC literate : thorough knowledge of PC, MS-Office (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), Sharepoint, Access

· Can quickly be the “benefits selling” support for Ansell industrial products. Supporting marketing added value selling.

· Can understand and support a holistic – 360 campaign

· Team-based interpersonal skills and an awareness of what is required to succeed in a global matrix organization. (will work with CBS, Brussels based experts…)

· Cultural sensitivity.

· Outcome & results orientated.

Additional Requirements (travel, etc.)

· 50% travel required to meet customer demands

· Open to participating in conference calls with global colleagues outside of standard working hours.
