Your new team
You will be working within a team of 14 colleagues including 6 Senior Relationship Managers and supporting them with a scope of well-defined tasks related to client management. The CSC team is responsible to originate, develop and manage the relationship with the largest corporates in the Dutch market.
Your role and responsibilities
You will have the unique opportunity to engage in strategic dialogues with CEO’s, CFO’s and Treasury teams of the clients and learn from it. You will build up profound finance and market knowledge to apply to projects and commercial initiatives alongside the team, as well as other sector and product teams to provide our clients with a full spectrum of products and services.
Your daily activities will consists out of:
During your STA you will be assigned a portfolio CSC PAM clients. These are clients that do require active relationship coverage together with a designated PAM. You will be responsible to efficiently manage this portfolio during the time of the STA
Perform (financial) analyses on clients, sectors, and peers in an international environment
Be responsible for collecting client and sector information and analysing this information for solution offering processes
Actively participate in the preparation of financial models and client pitch books, client briefings, etc.
Develop and apply in depth sector/industry/product knowledge to develop, maintain and grow relationships with prospective and existing clients to stimulate and manage demand for financial products and services offered by the organization and also create valuable relationships with our clients
Support the Senior Relationship Managers in originating and coordinating new business, monitor returns and profitability and the realisation of the teams’ objectives and KPIs
Coordinate with client teams in account planning, execution and monitoring efforts for the assigned client portfolio
Liaise with all product teams within the wholesale bank (Transaction Services, DCM, ECM, Corporate Finance, Lending, Client Services, etc.) to ensure superior client experience
Have frequent contact with the client on day-to-day business
Share knowledge and foster a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness, client focus, continuous improvement and innovation

Furthermore, you have:
Excellent verbal and written skills in English (and preferably also in Dutch)
1+ year working experience at ING
Academic master’s degree
Excellent analytical and communication skills, interest in sustainability
Knowledge of/affinity with financial modelling
Knowledge of IT applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Commercial drive and strong interest in financial services
You are:
An enthusiastic person with high level of self-motivation willing and eager to educate further and gain knowledge of the banking sector
A person with strong analytical and organisational skills, can process requests with diligence and speed
Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
