Join the Accounting Operations and Procurement Team, in the Bilingual Manager, Finance Business Transformation position. In this role, you will act as a key enabler within Finance, supporting modernization and operational excellence. You will lead a team of 5-8 individuals, supporting and executing finance transformation initiatives, supporting design, development and implementation of re-engineered finance business processes, data and analytics and automation solutions while ensuring a strong financial control environment. In this role, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key to support the Corporation's overall objectives.

What you’ll do:

Drive impactful change across the finance function and deliver process transformation and optimization initiatives leading to improved efficiency, reduced risk and enhanced customer/employee experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and needs, and translate them into effective financial processes, systems and data strategies.

Oversee and undertake necessary activities related to key design decisions, enhancements to technology solutions, detailed business requirements and workflows, process mapping, fit/gap analysis, integration/conversion plans, test cases, documentation updates, performance of testing, and change management.

Collaborate with IT and Business Transformation teams to ensure smooth integration and interoperability of solutions and platforms supporting the Finance data and technology strategy.

Conduct thorough analysis of existing data infrastructure, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization in order to facilitate automation of finance analytical and operational tasks. Incorporating automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, or development of requirements for RPAs and IT led projects.

Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive operational excellence.

Take ownership of financial data and analytics, performing ad hoc and rapid data analysis while equipping the team with proper data for advanced analytics. Additionally, create user-friendly data visualizations to report complex business processes, including related KPIs, benchmarking, and exception reporting.

Align people, work and systems to achieve business process efficiencies and results. Set objectives and take responsibility for engagement, enabling a culture of learning, coaching, development and accountability.

What you should have:

An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Data Analysis, Commerce or a related field of study.

A CPA designation.

A minimum of seven (7) years of prior relevant experience in business process engineering, finance transformation, data analytics or business intelligence, including three years of supervisory experience.

A hands-on experience with ERP systems and experience with automation technologies and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Automate or RPA.

Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, with an ability to persuade, influence and debate with senior level management using tact, diplomacy and judgment.

A demonstrated experience conducting research and performing in-depth analyses of complex and unique business areas, as well as synthesizing and presenting information as well as leading others through change.

A strong ability to adapt well within a fast-moving environment, overcome obstacles, problem solve and carry out deliverables.

Bilingualism (French and English)

It would be great if you also had:

A strong knowledge and experience with databases (SQL, Snow SQL, etc.)

A knowledge of data gathering, cleansing, and transforming techniques.

An addtional certification such as Lean Six Sigma, project management and/or change management.
