Account Executive

The market demand for our services has fueled our growth and we are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our Sales team. We are looking for someone with a passion for people and a desire to work directly with clients to learn their goals and establish how Smith can meet them. You need to be able to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities. No two days are the same, and this excites you!
Who you are:
A highly organized, mature problem-solver with sharp business acumen and knowledge of ecommerce concepts
A detail-oriented self-starter who is an exceptional listener and skilled communicator (both verbal and written)
A true hunter driven to partner with clients to solve complex problems, with the ability to manage multiple prospects while seeking new opportunities
What you’ll do:
Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing sales opportunities to achieve sales goal
Build and manage relationships with partner ecosystem reps, prospect executives and decision makers, targeting mid-market and enterprise B2B businesses
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and progress deals through the phases of the pipeline
Conduct needs assessments with prospective clients, understanding their pain points, goals and budget
Lead an opportunity through the solutioning process, collaborating with SMEs and solutioning team
Take the lead on preparation and presentation of proposals and estimates
Attend trade shows and host customer events
Ensure accurate representation of opportunities and sales activities in Salesforce
What we look for:
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales
Ecommerce experience preferred
Excellent writing skills
Excellent oral and non-verbal communication skills
Ability to present ideas, negotiate and problem solve
Proficiency with CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday schedule, travel required.
