Job Overview:

As the Accounting Financial Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

· Formulating and implementing policies and procedures related to Revenue Management and Payment Management such as reconciliations, GAAP Schedules, 9925 Financial Reporting, and other procedures related to uploads of Accounts Receivable and Payment files from FI to Ohio Administrative Knowledge Systems (OAKS).

· Formulating, developing, and enforcing financial internal controls for the Bureau of Accounting for a variety of the bureau’s daily processes.

· Developing and managing the tracking and spending of State Directed Payments and other expenditures as they relate to claims financial data stored in our Financial Intermediary (FI) system.

· Providing technical advice on federal and state rules and regulations.

The preferred candidate will have a proven record of applying a variety of techniques to solve problems, developing and implementing policies on internal controls and financial reporting, and collaborating across divisions and agencies using a variety of software tools.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE\: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.

Compensation is as listed on the posting unless required by legislation or union contract.

This position is overtime exempt.

Travel required, as needed. Must provide own transportation. Or, in order to operate a state vehicle, you must have a valid driver's license from state of residence.
