Shadowbox Live, the nation's largest resident theater ensemble, is seeking a Part Time Entertainment Sales and Marketing Representative in Columbus, OH.

SBXL utilizes a “grow within” strategy positioning its talent for success across multiple areas.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, energetic team player from an events, sales, or professional services background excited about the opportunity to develop their career and provide excellent customer service within a highly professional arts organization.

Perks of working as an Entertainment Sales and Marketing Representative: Hours to suit the needs of the business (Hybrid-work opportunity) Work week is Tuesday-Friday.

No Mondays Hours are between 20-25 per week during the day.

Opportunity to attend shows with comped admission (subject to the Marketing Directors approval) Opportunity to potentially grow into a Full-Time position depending on candidate Typical day in the life as an Entertainment Sales and Marketing Representative: Collaborate with the Advancement Team to help increase revenue, awareness, and connections by driving new business sales through market segments such as sponsorships and corporate group sales Handle incoming sales inquiries in accordance with company operating procedures, to maximize sales Convert existing inquiries and tentative bookings to contracted stage Coordinate and execute events planning ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction Maintain full and up-to-date knowledge of the organization's productions and services Handle new business inquiries ensuring an accurate client proposal is delivered promptly Produce a detailed event contract for the Client to sign in order to formally secure the booking Manage and coordinate internal communication and logistics to ensure execution of event for all parties is seamless Demonstrate an exceptionally high standard of personal interactions Cultivate relationships with business leaders to secure corporate sponsorships and future event bookings What we are we looking for?

2-4 years of sales experience meeting sales goals Exceptional standards of patron care and stewardship Highly organized and detail oriented Proactive and reactive IT literate (Training available for our custom software (Resonance) and Salesforce) A good communicator, in all forms Flexible in approach Must have reliable transportation Compensation: Determination of hourly rate is based on experience.
