Class C Truck Driver

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Class C Truck Driver in Itasca, IL. As a Class C Truck Driver for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in driving and packing operations for a well known company Production Workers are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entails heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $16-$20/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Class C Truck Driver:

Pick-up loads, organize goods in the truck, and secure packages

Transport pallet goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination

Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients

Communicate with dispatch and clients as needed

Maintain and service vehicles as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)

Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs Required Qualifications of the Class C Truck Driver:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Valid Class B commercial driver's license required

6+ months of driving a box truck a plus

Clean driving record with no moving violations

Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks a plus
