We are currently looking for an Delegated Authority Account Handler in Brussels from where we service the Coverholders in Belgium and outside of our home countries, mainly focussed on Italy and Spain

You will be part of the Delegated Authority Management Department consisting of 8 colleagues who mainly work from our Dutch offices.

You will provide administrative and operational support to the Manager of Delegated Authority. This role involves assisting in the management of delegated authority agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting various administrative tasks. The assistant will collaborate with various departments to maintain effective control and oversight of delegated authority arrangements.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Administrative Support:

Assist in the preparation of delegated authority agreements.

Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation related to delegated authority.

Data Management:

Input and update information in relevant databases and systems.

Prepare reports and summaries on the performance and compliance of delegated authority entities.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of data related to delegated authority activities.

Compliance and Monitoring:

Support the monitoring of compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements including onboard and renewal activities.

Assist in conducting regular reviews of delegated authority entities.

Report any issues or discrepancies to the Manager of Delegated Authority.

Communication

Act as a point of contact for delegated authority entities, responding to inquiries and providing information as needed.

Facilitate communication between internal departments and external entities.

Draft and distribute correspondence related to delegated authority matters.

Project Support

Assist in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving delegated authority processes and practices.

Collaborate with the team on strategic planning and implementation of new procedures.

Profile we are looking for :

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in business, Finance, Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of administrative or support experience, preferably in underwriting or risk management.

Strong written & oral skills in Dutch and English (Italian, Spanish and or French is an advantage)

Basic understanding of delegated authority principles and compliance requirements.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant software applications.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.

Previous experience in an insurance or risk management environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to constructively challenge the business whilst being solution focused.

Good team work, able to across regions and locations
