S.I. Yachts is a luxury marine services provider and yacht dealership known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a skilled Marine Fiberglass and Paint Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Conduct fiberglass repairs and modifications on marine vessels, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and fairing as needed.

Apply marine-grade paints and coatings using appropriate techniques to achieve a flawless finish.

Perform gel coat repairs and color matching to meet customer specifications.

Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to execute custom projects and fulfill client requests.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Conduct quality control inspections to meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Keep abreast of industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance skills and stay current with best practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Marine Fiberglass and Paint Technician or similar role.

Proficient in fiberglass repair techniques and familiarity with various marine coatings.

Strong knowledge of gel coat applications, color matching, and finishing.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.

Knowledge of safety protocols and experience working with hazardous materials.

Certification in fiberglass repair or a related field is a plus.
