We are hiring Accounts Manager for a leading Manufacturing Company
Overview
The Accounts Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the financial health and stability of the organization's operations in Kilpauk. This position involves managing and maintaining financial records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Key responsibilities
Supervising and leading the accounting team's day-to-day operations
Preparing financial statements and reports for senior management
Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
Monitoring internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulations
Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Managing and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable
Coordinating with auditors and external stakeholders during financial audits
Assessing financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
Reviewing and processing invoices and expense claims
Providing financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions
Handling tax filings and ensuring adherence to tax regulations
Participating in financial planning and strategy development
Collaborating with other departments to support financial operations and reporting
Developing and mentoring finance and accounting staff
Utilizing accounting software to manage financial transactions and reporting
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred
Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting, finance, or relevant field
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and reporting
Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Adaptability to evolving accounting practices and technology
Candidates with good exposure in GST filing, IT filing and strong exposure in Tally.
