Ready to start your journey toward a rewarding career in the utility industry?nNOVEC is seeking a Substation Asset and Maintenance Coordinator to fill a brand-new position managing the asset management database of the Cooperative's substation equipment.nOverview of role:nPerforms regular SCADA checks to determine historical and current alarms and items needing investigation.

nMaintains the asset management and maintenance system by ensuring all equipment is correctly entered with the proper maintenance and tracking parameters.nEvaluates the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations and uses the asset management system to automatically create maintenance orders based on operations, time, and other factors.

nRuns reports for management regarding asset health, maintenance timelines, work completion, and others as assigned.nWorks with the protection and physical engineers to determine testing parameters and test plans for relays and equipment.

nMaintains database of test data for equipment.

Researches and provides input on test equipment, parameters, scheduling, and reporting.nManages Polaris workorders and coordinates crews based on management needs.nCoordinates with vendors for returns and warranty issues.nCoordinates with management and relevant parties to coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities.nCoordinates with vendors and manufacturers on recall and other problem issues.nnEducation and/or Experience:nHigh School diploma or GED is required.

nFormal education and/or training in electrical theory or electronics and network and telecommunications systems is required with an Associates in an electrical field preferred.

n4+ years of experience in the maintenance and scheduling of equipment is required.nnSkills and Abilities:nDemonstrated ability to apply analytical methodology to problem solving and relate theoretical and/or technical concepts to practical application including but not limited to writing test procedures and recording technical data.
