The Tie-In Operator will replace empty weave machine beams when they’ve run out and ensure new beams are straight and operating in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities Include:
Safely operate motorized and manual warp trucks to pick-up and distribute weave machine beams
Report any mechanical issues
Stage tie-equipment and warps for tie-back
Avoid hitting beam head on other warps
Scan all weave machine beams prior to moving into weave room
Load, comb and/or lease warp to Ensure straightness
Ensure all ends in pattern prior to tying
Ensure patterns are correct
Put machine in oil bath one time a week
Follow plant safety rules
Qualifications Include:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, climbing, reaching and handling
