Job Description

Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job -

Within the value stream network improve business performance:

Analyse and define the value chain network and define and initiate required business improvements to drive operational performance (service and costs)

Drive Supply Chain improvements in Business projects / Lighthouse and M&A

Secure that customer service offers are defined and secured in the end to end supply chain

Drive Commercialization for Powder and ICO South Asia- Represent ISC in PMR

Drive the Monthly Regional S&OE, Regional SLOB Meeting and VSMR Processses

Optimize supply chain performance and balance inventory, lot-sizes, lead-time etc

Masterdata support / maintenance for planning teams

Responsibilities

Within the value stream network:

Work on the continuous supply chain assessment and benchmarking to identify business improvement opportunities, including end to end value stream mapping.

Analyse and define business improvements and projects to optimize end to end supply chain performance in OTIF, Cost to serve and working capital (inventory, payables, receivables).

Examples: optimize usage of distribution network and interaction between customer service and planning, e-commerce, route to market, lot sizes, truck rates

Support delivering BU supply chain KPIs in the region.

Provide support to assist the BU Supply Chain Manager when issues are raised

Work with the regional planning teams and liaise with the central Master Data teams and System Support Experts on the master data update to ensure ERP system runs accurately

Commercialization activities

Responsible for management of NPI's into the Supply Chain - BOM's, Artwork management, master data, overall project plan, trial coordination, factory acceptance

Leads preparation of Buy vs MAKE decisions and capital investment requests for approved NPI activities

Works closely with planning and manufacturing functions, to ensure innovations are timely and cost efficiently introduced into the markets

Is Supply Chain approver on regional gates and leader of sourcing board to determine where NPI and major changes will be supplied from

Executes product costing and include options for the marketing teams as part of the overall NPI stage-gate process

Leads projects for compliance, cost savings, complexity reduction

Performs network modelling to support sourcing decisions and complexity impact analysis

Takes care of third-party manufacturing sourcing and contracting

Works closely with Technical / RD&I, Marketing and Commercial functions to ensures speed to market in new production introductions, via the Stage Gate process

Participates and contributes to the related IBP Product Management Review process

Essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and requested skills.

Job Requirements

At least 8 years in Supply Chain function; strong experience in operations, planning and good hands on exposure to IT/ERP related projects

Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Science or Engineering

APICS certified preferred

Strong knowledge and experience with SAP preferred.

Strong project management skills and deadline accountability.

Functional excellence & credibility to drive the organization forward.

Ability to operate effectively across different cultures and functions.

Good communication skills, strong command in English.

Awareness and compliance with general HSE requirements

Ability to travel 15-25% of time.
