Roles and Responsibilities As our Market Analyst you will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented member of the Corporate Strategy group.

Your experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry coupled with experience in Cardiology/Heart Failure will allow you to play a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic direction by providing insights and recommendations based on thorough market research and analysis.

This newly-created position offers a unique opportunity to influence corporate decisions at the highest level and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Your responsibilities will include: Market Research & Analysis Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and potential opportunities.

Analyze macroeconomic data, industry reports, and company-specific information to forecast market developments.

Evaluate the impact of emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and global economic shifts on the company’s strategic goals.

Strategic Planning Support Assist in the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategic plan.

Provide analytical support in the formulation of business strategies, including market entry, product launch, and M&A activities.

Collaborate with business units to assess market opportunities and challenges.

Competitive Intelligence Monitor competitors’ activities, financial performance, product developments, and market positioning.

Develop competitive intelligence reports and presentations to inform senior management.

Identify potential threats and opportunities based on competitive analysis.

Financial Modeling & Forecasting Create and maintain financial models to project market scenarios, ROI, and profitability of strategic initiatives.

Analyze financial data to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and cost management.

Reporting & Presentations Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior leadership, summarizing key findings and strategic recommendations.

Present data-driven insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

Collaboration Work closely with other departments, including Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to align market insights with company objectives.

Support ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives as required.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators related to market performance, competitive position, and strategic initiatives.

Respond to requests from senior management for specific performance-related reports or analysis.

Provide timely and accurate data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.

Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of performance monitoring and reporting processes.

Implement best practices in performance tracking and reporting to ensure data accuracy and relevance.

Education/Experience(Required) 3-5 years of experience in market analysis, strategy consulting, or a similar role with a focus on cardiology, cardiovascular or heart failure.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research tools.

Knowledge of medical device or pharmaceutical industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive strategies.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
