Public Relations and Communications Assistant - Entry Level

We have an immediate need for a Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join a rapidly growing team. Our rapidly-growing promotional marketing company, applies a customer-friendly, direct, results-driven approach to marketing research and sales. As a result of proven success and expertise, new clientele is continuously added as we dramatically increase clients' product exposure, sales and brand recognition.

Responsibilities Include:

Managing and executing projects assigned by the Marketing Manager

Integrating PR campaigns with customer promotions in collaboration with key accounts

Coordinating in-store service events and ensuring successful operations

Building and nurturing relationships with customers to communicate promotional services effectively

Developing and refining measurement strategies for PR campaigns with the Marketing Manager

Creating promotional marketing materials and overseeing visual merchandising

Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and retail event personnel

Maintaining accurate records of event traffic, production, and inventory

Identifying new opportunities and innovative solutions for efficiency

Qualifications:

College degree or in the process of completion preferred

0-2 years’ experience in public relations, communications, marketing, sales, or related fields, or relevant internship experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision

Problem-solving skills with a professional, service-oriented attitude

Exceptional organizational and tracking abilities with keen attention to detail

Adaptability, dependability, and responsibility

Basic understanding of public relations, communications, marketing concepts, and sales strategy
