about the program - x-one

As part of the overarching strategy of the company, and to create a sustainable talent platform, Randstad is enhancing its digital capabilities. This requires closer collaboration with our 38 markets, collective leadership and a shared vision. The program that brings our digital components together is “x-one”. Over the coming years we will roll-out various ‘one’ programs across our markets. Additionally, there may be other digital or business solutions that are rolled out in our markets, in parallel with the x-one program. Collectively, these form our business transformation story.

x-one is the focus of this role, and ‘cross-programme’ refers to covering the different programmes included within x-one.

your typical day includes

As a cross-program change manager you will work within the x-one change management team, as a change liaison for an entrusted market(s) - one or more markets simultaneously; to ensure that the change lands successfully in your market.

You get involved from the initial stage of connecting with a market, when we have established a way of working and appointed a local change lead.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day connection with the market, to ensure they are fully aware and understand the x-one change strategy and approach, are familiar with the tools, and are able to produce the outcomes/ deliverables according to plan.

You will positively impact the cooperation between the global change management team, the market, as well as the broader programme team and other global functions.

Wherever needed, you highlight change risks/ issues that can impact adoption. You work closely with other change managers, communications lead, and learning leads within the global change team

When support and/ or ideas are needed to enhance global change content, you're a key contributor. You are trusted as a change management expert and able to perform complex tasks and assignments in parallel.

your responsibilities include

single point of contact for a market(s), on change management, across the x-one programmes .

participating in the pre-onboarding phase, to complete a high-level change impact assessment on people/ process/ technology/ behaviours for the market.

introduction of the x-one change management strategy, approach and tools to a market.

working closely with a market to produce a change milestone plan, including all the programmes within x-one; as well as all change sub-streams i.e. integrated change, communication and learning. Ensuring that this plan is also aligned with the market runbook.

working closely with the local change lead to ensure that they are able to produce the deliverables as per assigned timelines.

setting up various connect meetings, and/ or participating in the right meetings (global or local), to ensure that change management is both represented as well as, can produce the desired outputs.

raising the right change and adoption related risks/ issues at the right time, and ensuring there are mitigation owners and timelines assigned.

ensuring that other work streams within the programme (global or local), are aligned with the change deliverables and what we need, especially the process and product implementation workstream.

updating the x-one change management toolkit, based on learnings from the markets.

familiarising yourself with related technology e.g. the r-one adoption tracking dashboard, to ensure that you are able to narrate the story to a market.

being a part of the business-as-usual transitory phase, to ensure that change management has a solid footing in the market, when the programme is closed off and that the path to sustainable change is well defined.

working towards 100% adoption of x-one.

your background

education and experience

proven successful in change management or managing teams through major changes or transformation programs by applying change management methodologies and tools

experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural projects

masters degree in business or equivalent experience

good understanding of current technologies

preferable business experience in HR services in Randstad (staffing, inhouse or professionals)

preferable Prosci or equivalent certification

skills and knowledge

demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills

ability to drive and manage change at an enterprise level

ability to self-motivate, set goals and meet deadlines

comprehensive business understanding of Randstad or other staffing/related industries.

exceptional interpersonal skills. capability to manage and work together with different stakeholders to grow large alliances and networks in order to speed up global digital transformation.

digital translator, able to talk tech, concepts, business processes and operations

organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and exceed goals in high-pressure situations.

excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
