is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate full-time job opening for the position of Refrigeration Application Engineer, CO2 based in our San Leandro Office.
This position is within the CO2 Business unit and reports directly to the Director, Sales Account Management, CO2.
This position will serve as the liaison between external customers and internal departments, you will work alongside, sales team, R&D, manufacturing and product management.
Also, you will be a key technical advisor and product advocate, build best practice in product application.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to sales team, OEM’s, end-users and internal departments.
Evaluate the needs of the customer and provide technical solutions best fit the company’s portfolio.
Actively engage with customers to gather and comprehend their needs and requirements
Support sales teams and their clients on product technical details & application requirements
Provide accurate information and calculations in relation to each sales order
Support product development in developing new and/or products by communicating market trends, and issues in the marketplace.
First point of engineering contact to assist field and customer service personnel in answering product and application questions
Serve as the technical interface Energy Recovery product management and OEM product management teams.
Support OEM manufactures in implementing Energy Recovery CO2 products into their product design and specifications.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to support resolution of quality Issues
All other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements:
BS in Engineering or Applicable Technical Degree with minimum 7 years direct experience Supermarket/Industrialapplicationor design
Ability to clearly present technical information to customers internal and external
Extensive knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems preferred.
CO2 commercial/industrial knowledge a bonus
Deep knowledge of refrigerant properties and PH diagram analysis
Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and some working knowledge of AutoCAD systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with key stakeholders, vendors, and customers s.
