The Welding Stamping Section Manager is responsible for overseeing the welding and stamping operations within the manufacturing facility. This role involves managing a team, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The manager will also be responsible for optimizing processes, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with other departments to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Manage, mentor, and lead a team of welders and stamping operators. Provide training, set performance goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
Production Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the welding and stamping section, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective actions as needed.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality specifications and standards. Implement quality control procedures and address any defects or non-conformance issues.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and address any technical issues that arise during production.
Resource Management: Manage inventory of materials and supplies for the welding and stamping section. Work with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary resources.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance. Prepare and present reports on production performance and other relevant metrics.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (such as engineering, quality control, and supply chain) to ensure smooth operations and resolve any cross-functional issues.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred; or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a welding and stamping environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Skills:
