PT Food Service Associate

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part time Food Service Associate to work approximately 20 hours/week at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. Shifts will be Saturday & Sunday 7am-2pm and 4pm-7pm and some weekdays 4pm-7pm. Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position.

This position will pay up to $17.42/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or olderFor cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
