Utility Operator

Role & Responsibilities:

Position exists as the entry-level hiring rate in a manufacturing plant.

Perform general labor tasks as assigned to contribute to production levels.

Complete tasks in the safest, most efficient manner as possible.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.

Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.

Demonstrate basic problem-solving skill.

Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements necessary for the job.

Additional Information:

Shift: M-F 7:00a – 3p (occasional overtime and occasional holiday work)

Hourly Salary: $21.70

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
