Qualifications:
Bachelorâ s Degree in Engineering or Quality Management (Preferred)
3-5 years implementing Quality Processes and testing in a Product Development Environment
Experience in Consumer Products, Furniture, or Plastics (highly desirable)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including creating Bar Charts
Experience creating testing plans & testing standards
Proficiency in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
Experience with Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies Good to have
Regulatory knowledge of ASTM, F963 Toy Safety Standard, ANSI/BIFMA, Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) standards (ideal)
Knowledge of global manufacturing practices & raw material processing experience
Responsibilities:
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering development team
Validate and create reliability test plans
Ensure products meet Consumer Products Safety Commission requirements and BIFMA standards
Conduct Gage R&R studies and test repeatability
Create processes for product specifications and standardization of tests
Evaluate failures and test plans
Work with cross-functional teams to recommend design changes and make improvements
Report and present findings to stakeholders and executive leadership
