Qualifications

Associates degree preferred

2-5 years of Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience procuring raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and specialized tooling.

Proven ability in setting up and maintaining purchasing and logistics related compliance programs (e.g. REACH, RoHS, EAR, ITAR, C-TPAT, etc.). Responsibilities

Supplier and Internal Communication: Effectively interact with suppliers and team members to address various needs and resolve issues.

Purchase Management: Process and review purchase requisitions, and prepare requests for quotations (RFQs) and purchase orders.

Supplier Coordination: Gather information from suppliers regarding product details such as pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Evaluate quotations and assist in selecting the most suitable supplier.

Database and Records Management: Maintain and update the purchasing and inventory database, ensuring the accuracy of all records.

Issue Resolution: Resolve non-conformance issues promptly with suppliers or internal teams (engineering or manufacturing) to ensure smooth operations.

Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with personnel and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and availability of components to meet customer delivery schedules.

Engineering and Supplier Processes: Process engineering change releases and supplier acknowledgments.

Order Management: Expedite orders as needed, follow up on job shortages, and participate in shortage meetings.
