Job Title: Sales Office Administrator
Location: Colleyville, TX (Sales Office)
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (work through lunch; brief breaks are allowed)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Sales Office Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves assisting families in designing memorials for their loved ones. Each appointment typically takes several hours, with projects taking 6-12 months to complete. You'll be responsible for managing follow-ups throughout the project duration.
This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently in the office, as you'll often be the sole person onsite, with support from other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and assist walk-in customers
Meet with families to design memorials, managing appointments and occasional walk-ins
Keep detailed notes and ensure accuracy in names, dates, and project specifics
Coordinate with the design team for more complex projects
Handle follow-ups with families over several months
Prepare and manage paper contracts
Maintain a compassionate, professional demeanor while assisting families
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (work through lunch; brief lunch breaks are allowed)
Occasional overtime may be required
Potential for full-time opportunity covering a maternity leave
Requirements:
2+ years experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive information like names and dates
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage downtime
Comfortable with casual dress (no shorts; jeans and casual tops acceptable)
