The candidate will support the EHS Manager in managing the Health function requirements and other related activities in accordance with local regulations.
Responsibilities
Support EHS Manager / Country Management on Health matters in the Country and Project
Support and advise project teams on Health aspect of work.
Assist the EHS team in organizing EHS activities and promotion, training, and other activities that will develop and maintain Health awareness of the employees in the project.
Preparation and maintenance of Health related records / statistics.
Ensures that the project complies with all current and future Health regulations and laws.
Promptly attends to employees’ medical and health needs according to accepted medical standards
Provides nursing care to injured or ill employees and refers them to a hospital for further treatment as deemed necessary
Provides health advice and nursing care to employees and refers major health issues to the Company Physician
Responsible for providing nursing care to sick or injured employees, handles medical related inquiries and educating employees on the prevention of sickness/ diseases
Communicates all pre-employment medical exam results to the Company Physician and other concerned for proper guidance
Coordinates with the project sites regarding health-related issues and concerns
Supports the Project Leadership during the site visit and other related activities
Consolidates monthly health reports from the project sites
Prepares reports for the health surveillance program and other related programs
Knowledge & Experience
Graduate of BS Nursing with an updated PRC License
Has experience as an occupational health nurse (DOLE – OSH related training)
Can do multiple tasks with minimum supervision within set deadlines
Possesses a strong sense of urgency and responsibility
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
