What You Will Be Doing:

Monitor the competitive landscape and keep Shelter up to speed on emerging opportunities and threats.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Typically requires 7+ years of experience in business strategy planning, business analysis, competitive intelligence, market research, or related experience.

Typically requires 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry.

Strong knowledge of key business and financial drivers, including key economic and industry trends that could impact the organization.

Ability to influence decision makers and work with cross-functional teams at all levels.

Ability to seek, compile and interpret information from a variety of sources, such as trade journals, research reports, white papers, financial reports, and survey data.

Strong quantitative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and meeting facilitation skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.

Ability to quickly adapt to changing business priorities and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
