Technical Service Manager, Smelter (Expat Package)

The Technical Service Manager (Jakarta Raya Indonesia) will oversee and optimize the technical aspects of copper smelting operations. You will be working for one of the leaders in Mining. This role requires deep expertise in metallurgical processes and the ability to apply advanced simulation tools to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will also bring valuable experience from leading global organizations or smelters, contributing to the continuous improvement and strategic growth of the operations.

Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in copper smelting operations, with a strong background in technical cell functions.

Proficiency in smelter operations, particularly in smelter modeling.

Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering or a related field

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Advanced familiarity with MET SIM (Metallurgical Simulation) modeling software.

In-depth understanding of heat and mass balance principles.

Comprehensive knowledge of the impact of impurities on copper smelting and refining operations.

Strong analytical skills to assess and improve smelting processes.
