Process Safety Engineer

Our client is a global chemical company whose products are used in many different industries. They are looking for a Process Safety Engineer to add to their team in the greater Chicagoland area.

As a Process Safety Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop, manage, and ensure compliance of PSM standards, programs, and regulations

Provide site training on PSM program

Lead site incident investigations and create corrective action plans

Manage site process safety risk and provide corrective actions

Provide technical expertise and serve as subject matter expert

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 + 7% bonus

As a Process Safety Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

BS in Chemical Engineering or Engineering

1+ years of hands-on process/production engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing setting

Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility

Commitment to safety

Experience with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, failure modes, and effects analysis is ideal
