Job Description:
The College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida is seeking an energetic student to work part-time up to 20 hours a week with our Finance department.
Duties Include:
Reconciliation
- Reconcile leave requests which may include communicating with employees through the leave submission process.
- Save and file backup documents for the Dean's Office non-research related fiscal activities.
- Review, reconcile, and identify discrepancies regrading departmental phone bill and reports.
Daily
- Stocking and maintaining kitchen.
- Stocking, organizing, and maintaining File Room.
- Maintaining inventory of available supplies.
- Monitoring mail for Dauer Hall and the distribution between Dauer and the HPNP building.
As Needed:
- Shredding
- Filing/scanning (both online and paper formats)
- Purging projects
Expected Salary:
$13.00 per hour.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be registered as a student, half time or more, at the University of Florida. The department would consider Federal Work Study if registered as a UF Student with appropriate documentation (FWS Award).
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience and ability to work in a team setting.
Valid Driver's License is a plus.

This is a part-time position up to 20 hours per week. Specific schedule within the confines of the standard Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm business week will be determined in consultation with the identified hire.
