Job Role : Application Support Engineer

Experience : 2-4 Years

Position responsibilities:

Support the Systems team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and hardware systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

Assist in automating existing processes and innovating new solutions across our cloud infrastructure.

Aid in the deployment and operations of cloud infrastructure.

Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

Assist with and perform tests, including end-user testing for modified and new systems.

Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications.

Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, connectivity, mapping, processes, and service records.

Assist with and provide training to team members on differing areas of technology as well as our environment.

24x7 on call rotation coverage.

Essential skills, education, experience, and qualifications:

University degree in computer science or information systems and/or [2] years equivalent work experience

Strong experience in Linux/Unix

Possess an understanding standard data stores (MySQL, MSSQL)

Proficient in Google Cloud Platform.

Experience supporting applications with MySQL, Apache, MSSQL, NGINX, and others
