Position: Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Location: Atlanta/Hybrid work model

The Opportunity: The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for performance sourcing and evaluation supporting enterprise risk management. The position will also work closely with the other areas of Risk, Finance, and Operations to drive key initiatives for risk management and the company’s continued profitable growth.

What You Will Do:

Prepare weekly and monthly reporting and analysis to evaluate portfolio trends, delinquency, and credit losses

Identify business risks and create recommendations using data-driven decision making

Design and build dashboards used by management to monitor portfolio KPIs

Support the development of economic stress scenarios and market risk assessment

Responsible for complex risk projects requiring advanced analytical, quantitative and technical skills

Monitor macroeconomic indicators of all regions for potential emerging risks

Perform other duties as assigned

The Experience You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or related field

2 to 7 years of experience in an analytics role

Experience with MS Excel, SQL, & SAS

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Technical ability and proficiency in data gathering, reporting, and statistical inference

Experience with multiple data structures

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in risk management, financial lending, or core credit risk management function

Exposure to Tableau

Exposure to at least one high-level programing language (R, Python, etc.)

Exposure to statistical modeling
