Description:

Avaya systems and troubleshooting on IP telecom networks and other call center platforms

Experience in VMware and hyperconverged physical systems

Experience in network protocols, routing policies and ACL, etc.

Avaya configurations, Implementation, network communication - Firewall, troubleshoot Linux VMS

Good Communication Skills.

Experience with Avaya products. Each phone system platform is different, utilizes different terminology, etc.

Experience with VMware and/or Nutanix. Virtualized systems are quite a bit different than physical systems and having experience with VMware will be helpful in ensuring servers have the resources they need and experience with Nutanix or hyperconverged physical systems will help with making sure the physical resources we need will be available and/or ordered in a timely fashion.

Some experience with networking. Understanding of IP addresses, network flows, firewalls, ACL's, etc. Having this knowledge base will help with troubleshooting and identifying where an underlying issue may lie.

Linux - while we typically do not have CMD line and/or Root access to the linux-based servers for the Avaya products and rely on Cerium Networks to make adjustments on those servers, having experience with Linux will help assist when working with a Cerium engineer along with helping me learn Linux.
