Overview
The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) role is crucial in maximizing the online visibility and organic traffic of our website. The SEO Specialist will play a key part in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies, analyzing website performance, and staying abreast of the latest industry trends to ensure our website ranks highly on major search engines.
Key responsibilities
Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content optimization
Review and optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page factors
Analyze website performance using Google Analytics or similar tools
Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance off-page SEO
Stay updated with search engine algorithms and industry best practices
Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed
Monitor and report on SEO performance and make recommendations for improvement
Perform website audits to identify technical SEO issues
Implement and manage local search strategies for regional visibility
Utilize SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs for analysis and optimization
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
Demonstrable track record of implementing successful SEO strategies
Thorough understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website evaluation tools
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
Certification in Google Analytics or similar platforms is a plus
Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO is advantageous
