Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Production Officer to join our dynamic team. The Production Officer will play a vital role in overseeing the manufacturing process of our high-quality coatings. The ideal candidate should possess strong supervisory skills, extensive knowledge of paint manufacturing processes, and a passion for ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibility

· Supervise and coordinate the manufacturing process to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.

· Manage and allocate manpower effectively to optimize productivity.

· Monitor and control production processes to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency.

· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

· Collaborate with the Production Manager to implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.

· Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance.

· Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.

· Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.

· Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of production equipment and facilities.

Skills Required

· Strong knowledge of paints, coatings, and related products.

· Strong knowledge of paint manufacturing processes and equipment.

· Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.

· Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Experience Required

· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the paint manufacturing industry.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
