We are looking for: Part Time, starting as soon as possible with multiple shifts available.

Available Shifts:

Mondays 11am-4:30pm

Fridays 6:30-11am

Hourly rate begins at $15.00

Essential Functions:

Monitors access to the Fitness Center to allow only authorized users and visitors.

Conducts fitness equipment orientations for new fitness center members and guests.

Cleans and maintains all fitness center equipment.

Provides workout towels for fitness center users.

Maintains stock of all supplies and equipment used in the fitness center.

Monitors and enforces fitness center rules.

Responds to inquiries about programs, services, rules, and procedures at the Sachs Recreation Center.

Requirements:

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, coupled with strong communication skills having the ability to represent the Deerfield Park District in a professional manner.

Takes initiative to maintain the fitness floor cleaning schedule.

Enjoys working as part of a team.

Appreciates the need for safety and cleanliness.

Be aware of and contributing to the maintenance and implementation of all Deerfield Park District safety policies and procedures.

Required to:

Use good safety awareness and judgment.

Follow policies.

Report potentially unsafe conditions.

Follow manufacturer safety instructions when using equipment.

Follow agency ergonomic policies and procedures.
