SAP SD & MM Consultant

Overview

The SAP SD & MM Consultant plays a vital role in the organization by providing expertise in implementing SAP solutions, particularly in the areas of Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. This role is crucial for optimizing business processes and ensuring seamless integration between various business functions.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.

Design, configure, and implement SAP SD and MM solutions to meet client needs.

Provide expertise in defining business processes and mapping them to SAP capabilities.

Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.

Perform system testing, data migration, and system integration activities.

Support the resolution of issues and provide ongoing maintenance and support for SAP SD and MM modules.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Conduct impact analysis and propose solutions for change requests and enhancements.

Stay updated with SAP best practices, industry trends, and new technologies.

Participate in project planning, scoping, and estimation activities.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience working as an SAP SD & MM Consultant or in a similar SAP consulting role.

In-depth knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules, including configuration and implementation best practices.

Strong understanding of business processes related to sales, distribution, and materials management.

Hands-on experience with system configuration, testing, and data migration activities.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.

Experience in leading workshops, training sessions, and change management activities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Understanding of integration points between SAP SD, MM, and other SAP modules.

Certification in SAP SD and/or MM modules is preferred.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities in a cross-functional and global environment.

Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP integration technologies is a plus.
