Located in Wilton, NH, Kimball Physics, Inc. is a company led by physicists and composed of a team of professional and creative co-workers – all of whom share the desire to advance humankind by doing good physics and having fun while doing so. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team.

The campus is an informal atmosphere in a rural location surrounded by rolling hills, deep woods, quiet ponds and many hiking trails.

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for overseeing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and be adept at handling diverse HR issues with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries from employees

Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Implements new hire orientation.

Assists in administrating benefits, compensation, payroll and employee performance programs.

Responsible for all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientation, stay interviews, exit interviews, including data entry in the HRIS.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Assists with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

Participates in developing company policies, guidelines and procedures.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
