**Job Title: ** Help Desk Analyst

**Job Summary: **

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team. The Helpdesk Analyst for The Custom Companies, Inc. serves as the first point of contact for all IT requests by end users and customers. This position performs initial diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of problems or escalates to the next level if required. The person is hands on, working directly with employees to assist with mobile phones, computers, printers and any other hardware used within the company. This person also takes on the role of EDI Coordinator to manage the data interchange between The Custom Companies and its partners, customers and vendors. Experience with EDI is not required, you will receive training to support this function.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Serve as the first point of contact for end users and provides technical assistance via phone, email and instant message.

· Manages IT hardware inventory including repurposing, decommissioning and selling/shipping (on eBay) of surplus equipment.

· Configure and support personal devices such as workstations, mobile phones, remote terminals, laptops and desk phones.

· Assist in running data cabling throughout the building for new devices like computer, cameras, TV’s, speakers.

· Maintains the company’s fleet of mobile devices including IOS and Android devices.

· Participates in development of user training programs by identifying areas needing improvement, creating and recommending instructional materials.

· Works with internal teams and management to identify and implement new technologies that could improve efficiency within the company.

· Follows up with users to ensure issues are resolved.

· Escalates problems to next level support for further diagnosis.

· Coordinate and implement new EDI connections within its respective Transportation Management Software (TMS)

· Coordinate EDI migrations, integrations, modifications and support for all TMS applications.

· Troubleshoot mapping, connection or integration errors and processing and communicating with relevant parties on next steps.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
