Job description

We are currently looking for a Cake Decorator in the Etobicoke, ON area. Our client who is a leader in the food production industry is looking for the right candidate for this role. Apply today so you don’t miss out on this opportunity.

Pay Rate:

$17 to $19 per hour BOE

Shift:

4pm to 12:30am

Responsibilities:

Maintain personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness, in accordance with GMP training

Finishing cakes and decorating the finished product

Mask a cake using pallet knife and turntable

Pipe rosettes and cake borders

Able to place curls, blossoms and crumbs on the side of the cake

Other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

Fluent oral and written English (able to clearly comprehend and convey work instructions)

Must have commercial baking experience

Capable of lifting up to 19KG

Able of standing for extended periods and perform manual mixing, reaching and bending, squatting, stretching, pulling and lifting, moving equipment, exposure to hot or cold work environment, including blast freezer
