Target Pay Rate: $50K - $60,300K

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our Quality Control Manager and Assistant Manager with pre-shipment and document record reviews, ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Shipment Record Review: Assess and verify records to ensure all standards are met before shipment.

Finished Product Releases: Oversee and approve finished product releases, ensuring quality and compliance.

Daily Records Review: Review daily quality control records to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain records to ensure they are readily available for audits.

Data Collection & Statistics: Support data collection and statistical analysis for new products.

Audit Preparation: Assist the Quality Assurance team with audit preparations and calibrations.

Client/Customer Relations: Maintain communication with clients/customers regarding specifications and documentation.

R&D Collaboration: Work with R&D on updating recipes and formulas as needed.

Customer Complaint Investigations: Assist in investigating and resolving customer complaints.

Project Support: Aid in the implementation of new projects.

Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Experience

Experience: 1-2 years in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry.

Certifications: HACCP and BRC certified.

Knowledge: Basic principles of microbiology, biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry.

Technology Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JDE, and Outlook.

Skills: Strong multi-tasking, leadership, and organizational skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Traits: Team player with strong mathematical aptitude and analytical proficiency.
