This role can sit in Chicago, IL and Denver, CO. This specific role is
required to be fulfilled on site.
We invite you to join the Global Information Security (GIS) team at our
client as an Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will utilize the
experience you have gained throughout your career to provide hands-on
operational deployment and support for commercial and custom software
applications.
This is an individual contributor role, working within Microsoft and
RHEL environments. Responsibilities include researching, designing,
engineering, implementing, and supporting information security
technologies. Primary duties will require use of in-depth technical
knowledge to manage and enhance both vendor and internally developed
applications.
Infrastructure Engineers may interact with and have visibility to
members of the GIS senior leadership team as well as key business unit
stakeholders. Additionally, they have the opportunity to collaborate
with a deeply committed team of recognized information security experts
on high visibility security initiatives for the Bank.
Required Skills:
* Experience in Application Management and Support
* Experience in hosted middleware security vulnerability remediation
* Experience in Systems Engineering and Deployment
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in scripting/automation using python or PowerShell
* Experience in automating support and deployment processes using
Terraform
* Experience in container deployment and configuration using OpenShift
* Experience with database setup and configuration of PostgreSQL
* Proficient in Windows and RHEL server support and access systems
* Understanding of CI/CD pipeline process, including security
integrations
* Understanding of complex environments, their sub-components,
concepts, and interactions
* Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight
* Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
Desired Skills:
* Ability to identify, analyze and resolve risk to the organization
* Ability to be effective communicate to stakeholders with varying
degrees of technical understanding
* Ability to work across management levels and lead technical peers
* Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, various SANS
* Managed code development experience with .NET and/or Java
