Description

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for communication with customers regarding inquiries, complaints and shipments

JOB DUTIES:

Answer phone calls and emails from customers

Assist with Live Chat correspondence

Process orders and make adjustments to orders that have changes or problems

Handle shipping issues and help customers track items if needed

Call customers when necessary to advise regarding shipment delay or product replacements

Help customers with questions on quilting and patterns.

Coordinates with Quality Control Manager to expedite or trace orders

Assist with fabric matches and quilt designs

Cut swatches and samples for customers

General housekeeping as required to maintain a safe workplace

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Sewing/Quilting skills required. Advanced skills are preferred. Must be able to answer questions on quilting patterns and techniques

High School diploma or equivalent

1-3 years Customer Service experience

Must be able to pass background check and drug test

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Proficient with basic computer applications including Microsoft Outlook and web browsers

Active listener and possess excellent problem solving and communication skills

Correct grammar and diction

Must be friendly, courteous and helpful

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.

Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
