Trilogy® at Vistancia®: Kiva & Mita Clubs

Trilogy at Vistancia is comprised of three feature club experiences, the golf club, the original community centerpiece, Kiva Club, and the recently introduced Mita Club. The golf course, the feature restaurant, V's Taproom, the full-service Alvea Spa, and the events & weddings venue are all available to the public.

Where: Peoria, 40 minutes west of Scottsdale & Northwest of downtown Phoenix, Arizona

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Benefits:

New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (“PTO”) in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.

Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.

Part-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state guidelines.

All team members 21 years and older are eligible to participate in the J.F. Shea Co., Inc. 401(k) plan after completion of 30 days of service.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Spa Retail Coordinator assists in the daily operations of the facility, including, greeting and check-in at the front desk, offering exceptional hospitality and customer service, scheduling service appointments, processing payments, articulating service and product knowledge, and more specifically ordering and stocking retail merchandise. This position reports to the Spa & Fitness Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the “BlueStar Experience” for members and guests by modeling and maintaining the standards set in the BlueStar 10 and adhering to BlueStar Resort & Golf (BSRG) and facility policies.

Operate as part of a team handling daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, facility inspections and stocking, along with communicating facility maintenance needs.

Welcome and provide a check-in for members and guests at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and a desire to satisfy all customer inquiries and follow up.

Provide feedback to managers about customer satisfaction and concerns to improve the overall operations.

Develop in depth knowledge of all Spa services and products, with the ability to promote them with enthusiasm to members and guests and support them in making choices for their wellbeing.

Train team members on Spa and retail products.

Create an intriguing and visually appealing retail experience with rotating stock, clutter free displays, and rotating mannequins

Maintain and upkeep retail area; receive, check-in, price products and restock shelves.

Implement proper inventory and purchasing procedures, and review weekly reports for retail and services.

Actively manage old stock and create sales opportunities to sell through items.

Inform management of feedback of ways to improve retail area, including, but not limited to sizing, style, and fit.

Manage computer appointment scheduling for spa, salon, and fitness center; work with team members to manage scheduling conflicts or concerns.

Process spa charges with proficient cash handling; balance the register at the closing of a shift.

Work with groups scheduling spa events from initial event booking through the event.

Monitor and maintain safe and clean work areas, including the front reception area, entrance to the spa, waiting/relaxation lounge, outdoor client areas, and fitness and locker room.

Report incidents and accidents to the Spa manager.

Provide tours of the Spa center to guests and deliver sales tours to prospective decision makers who can provide business for the Spa center, as requested.

Participate in monthly promotions and sales strategies, as assigned.

Provide administrative assistance, as requested.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

One to three years’ direct customer service and hospitality experience required.

One to three years’ of health and fitness related work experience preferred.

Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Knowledgeable in fitness club operations.

Skilled in attentive customer service and calmly responding to guest concerns.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

·Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, portions, and percentages.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to respond to the needs and requests of staff members, guests, and the community association.

Must demonstrate initiative—ability to think, work, and make independent decisions, based on sound judgment.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.

This position requires a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Valid driver’s license is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates indoors and routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, see, speak clearly and understand the speech of another person, sit, stand and walk (occasionally for an extended period), use hands to fingers, handle or feel, bend, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
