Job Title: General Manager

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Salary: NGN 400,000 per month

Commission: 1% of weekly sales

About Us: We are a newly established lounge/club in Abuja, dedicated to providing an exceptional nightlife experience. We are seeking a dynamic and driven General Manager to lead our team, innovate our offerings, and be the face of our brand.

Job Description:

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the lounge/club's operations, ensuring top-tier service, and driving business growth. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the brand’s presence and success in the competitive nightlife market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing & Business Development:

o Develop and execute aggressive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new patrons.

o Initiate and implement innovative promotional campaigns and events.

o Foster business growth through proactive outreach and strategic partnerships.

2. Strategic Planning & Innovation:

o Formulate and execute strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

o Continuously seek out and implement innovative ideas to keep the lounge/club at the forefront of the industry.

3. Quality Assurance & Control:

o Ensure high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

o Oversee quality control measures to maintain excellence in every aspect of operations.

4. Facility Management:

o Manage and maintain the facility to ensure a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment.

o Oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades as needed.

5. Accounting & Stock Keeping:

o Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and stock management.

o Ensure accurate and efficient handling of all financial transactions and inventory.

6. Vendor & Relationship Management:

o Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

o Manage conflicts and negotiate contracts to benefit the lounge/club.

7. Social Media & Content Development:

o Lead the development and execution of social media strategies.

o Create engaging content to enhance online presence and attract customers.

8. Leadership & Team Management:

o Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

o Implement training and development programs to enhance team performance.

9. Brand Representation:

o Act as the brand ambassador, embodying the values and image of the lounge/club.

o Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, both in personal conduct and in how you handle business operations. This includes punctuality, courtesy, and reliability.

o Ensure that you are always presentable, vibrant, and embodying the brand’s aesthetic.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or nightlife industry.

• Strong marketing and strategic planning skills with a focus on innovation and business growth.

• Excellent quality assurance and control expertise.

• Proficiency in facility management, accounting, and stockkeeping.

• Demonstrated ability in vendor management and conflict resolution.

• Experience with social media and content creation.

• A vibrant, dynamic personality with the ability to command respect and lead effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
