Solar Photovoltaic Installer

US GREEN Energy Technologies is extremely excited for the summer of 2019 and are actively recruiting for several installation positions here in San Diego County. Below is a description of each role and their responsibilities.

General Installation Employee Expectations:

Ability to lift and transport a minimum of 60 lbs

Travel and overnight stay may be required

OVERTIME will be offered on select Residential and commercial projects

Weekdays and select weekend availability

Knowledge, understanding, and strict adherence to ALL OSHA safety regulations and procedures

Ability to install all variations of solar installs: Roof mounts, ground mounts, carports, shade structures

Lead solar installer:

Position Description/Requirements:

This position can be required to complete all duties of Roof Lead and Solar Installer positions in addition to:

Fulfill all the on-site leadership roles: delegating, observing, training, and developing all other team members

Lead daily on-site safety meetings, review OSHA standards at the start of the job, pre-site walk on the first day to determine obstacles, safety hazards, and develop efficiency standards to optimize the installation timeline

Primary on all AC related components

Primary on all site measures and system repairs/troubleshooting

Final system checklist completion and repairs/improvements

Minimum Requirements:

2-3 years of solar electrical experience

1 year of team leadership experience

Commercial solar experience is preferred
