Renewable Energy Project Finance and M&A Senior Analyst

As a Renewable Energy Project Finance and M&A Senior Analyst, you will be a key player in conducting financial analysis, evaluating potential M&A opportunities, and providing strategic insights to support our company's expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling: Create and maintain project finance models to evaluate the financial feasibility and potential return on investment of solar projects.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks that could impact our financial model and strategies.

Risk Assessment: Analyze potential risks and rewards associated with transactions, ensuring that they align with the company's strategic goals and financial objectives.

M&A Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential M&A targets, including financial, high-level technical, and market analysis, to assess their suitability for integration into our solar development business.

Valuation: Determine the valuation of potential targets and assist in negotiating favorable terms and conditions.

Deal Structuring: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop deal structures that maximize value while aligning with our company's long-term vision and financial objectives.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to management, guiding them in making informed decisions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in project finance modelling, M&A, or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of renewable energy and solar development.

Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, project finance principles and market research.

Proficiency and proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of energy sector regulations and industry trends is a plus.
